The WMA Fine Arts Competition ends the day with an opportunity for band and choral students from various schools, groups, or private settings to come together to rehearse and perform as a festival band or choir. Sign-up links to participate are found under the REGISTER HERE drop down menu.

Jr. high and high school students are invited to take advantage of this unique festival workshop led by skilled guest directors. For the convenience of the competition participants, it is on the afternoon of the WMA Fine Arts Competition. Central Indiana Home School Band will host the Band Festival under the leadership of Ms. Adrienne Heidenreich. The Choral Festival will be hosted by Woodridge Music Academy Choir under the leadership of Mrs. Lauri Wood.

The festival band and choir will perform in the closing ceremony at 6:30 PM, along with the Best of Show from several competition categories. During that time, competition winners will also be announced. The concert is open to the public and is free of charge.

Directors, teachers, and parents will need to order adequate quantities for their students. In order to receive the benefit of this band/choral experience, it is the students responsibility to learn the pieces prior to the festival. Memorization is not required, but strongly suggested.

Instrumental students interested in participating in the band festival will need to contact Ms. Adrienne Heidenreich to secure their instrument part.
